What do Tesla and Drones Have in Common – This Guy

I’m a big fan of Tesla and the bleeding edge cars they produce. In fact, I just bought one.

But I was overjoyed to read that one of the smart engineers at Tesla has made the leap and joined the drone delivery company Zipline.

Now former Tesla Engineering Director Joseph Mardall recently announced:

“After 10 wonderful years at Tesla, I’m super excited to start my next chapter as Head of Engineering at Zipline, working with a team of talented and committed engineers to provide every human on Earth with instant access to vital medical supplies. The next 5 years are going to change everything and I can’t wait! We are hiring for all roles across engineering and I would love to hear from you – come fly with me!”

Mardall says he will “lead Zipline’s engineering team to design and build the next generation of autonomous drones to provide every human on Earth with instant access to vital medical supplies.”

And I bet he will. And we will all be better off for the engineering accomplishments he will lead at Zipline. I can’t wait to see what changes he brings to our field.
