A generator was stolen from Menards, 9000 East Point Douglas Road, Jan. 15. There are no suspects. Loss: $1,300.

Burglary
St. Croix Cleaners, 7430 80th St., was broken into Jan. 7. The front door was reportedly broken and the cash register was open.
Drone complaint
A drone was reported to have flown over the Hillside Elementary playground, 8177 Hillside Trail, Jan. 8 around 1 p.m. The drone was gone when police arrived.
Shoplifting
A 32-year-old Hastings man stole an impact driver kit and a brad nail gun from Menards, 9000 East Point Douglas Road, Jan. 8. The man was stopped in Minneapolis and charged him for shoplifting. Loss: $750.
Four juvenile males entered SuperAmerica, 7033 Jorgensen Lane, Jan. 9 and took candy bars without paying for them. The four males were trespassed from the store.
A 33-year-old Burnsville man was cited for shoplifting at Menards, 9000 East Point Douglas Road, Jan. 11.
An unknown person shoplifted $110 of merchandise from G-Will Liquors, 6999 80th St., Jan. 14.
Indecent exposure
A 25-year-old Cottage Grove man exposed his genitals to an adult female in the 8100 block of Belden Boulevard Jan. 8. He was cited for indecent exposure.
Non-consensual sharing of image
A 12-year-old Cottage Grove male was referred to the Youth Service Bureau Jan. 11 after he shared a nude photo of a female sent over Snapchat without her consent.
Drugs
A 17-year-old Cottage Grove male was cited for having a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop Jan. 13.
Stolen handicap placard
A 31-year-old woman from St. Paul Park was cited for possession of stolen property and misuse of a handicap placard after using it in the Walmart parking lot, 9300 East Point Douglas Road, Jan. 13. The placard had previously been reported stolen.
Trespassing
Four males were that had been previously trespassed from Hy-Vee, 7280 East Point Douglas Road, were seen entering the store by an officer Jan. 13. The officer cited and released a 16-year-old Cottage Grove male and a 16-year-old St. Paul Park male. An adult male was arrested on a warrant, and Ronald Allen Burks Jr., 19, Cottage Grove, was detained for ongoing trespassing issues.
Disorderly conduct
A 50-year-old Cottage Grove woman was cited Jan. 14 for disorderly conduct in the 8800 block of 90th Street. She reportedly tried to climb the bumper of the squad car and pulled away from officers when they tried to approach her.
Elevator entrapment
An elevator was stuck on the ground floor of Norris Square, 8200 Hadley Ave., Jan. 15, with someone inside it. The fire department assisted. There were no injuries.
Underage tobacco use
A 13-year-old Cottage Grove male was referred to the Youth Service Bureau after he was caught using an e-cigarette at Cottage Grove Middle School, 9775 Indian Boulevard. [Click for More]
